At Jerry Green Dog Rescue we believe there's a caring home for every dog
The dogs at our seven rescue centres are just waiting for the right
people to come along and offer them a home. Whether you're hoping to
adopt a dog, want to raise funds for us or make a donation, you can help
give a dog a better life.
Dogs Needing Homes
Our aim is to find the right home for each dog in our care. As a first step on the road to adoption, have a look at just some of the dogs at your local Jerry Green Dog Rescue Centre.

It all began with Rusty
Our founder Jerry Green was especially fond of his spaniel, Rusty, who died at the age of 14. The loss of his faithful friend inspired him to create a charity for
dogs.

Every penny helps

Adopting a dog
We aim to cater for the individual needs of each dog in our care and to find the right family and home. While we welcome all enquries to rehome our dogs, we make sure a dog is suited to any potential new owner's lifestyle.

We have limited boarding
facilities at most of our
Rescue Centres*
Boarding dogs are kept in designated
and separate kennels which are licensed
by local authorities. We do not mix dogs
from different homes under any
circumstances. If you wish to board two
dogs at the same time, we will normally
be able to keep them together. This is a
popular facility and reservations are
always advised. Please contact your
local Jerry Green Dog Rescue Centre
for details.

Help gives stray and abandoned dogs a new home.
Jerry Green Dog Rescue receives no official funding,
nor does it receive any money from the Lottery Fund.
This means we are very much dependent on the generosity of the
public - individual donors are our lifeline. The cost of running our
seven rescue centres in 2007 was £1 million and that cost is
certain to rise again in 2008. We desperately need your donations
to help us to continue our vital work in rescuing and rehoming stray
and abandoned dogs.
You can donate directly to us either by sending us a cheque or by
donating securely online, leave us a legacy as a lasting memorial or
donate unwanted shares for instance.
